HLT Version 3.0
This now left me with a decision to make. Do I get another washing machine valve or bite the bullet and get some "real" solenoid valves? The washing machine valve worked fine, but it's not really "heavy duty," as I found out. Rather than worry about a repeat performance, (I'm bound to screw something up again.) I went with real solenoid valves. I purchased 1/2" NPT Female, 115 VAC Brass Solenoid Valves McMaster-Carr part number: 4738K157 at $54.19 each. A little rework of the HLT plumbing and I'm back in business. Here's a different view of the HLT. This is a view of the whole System after the HLT Version 3.0 changes.
